Hurricane Rita put a tree on top of our bedroom. It cracked the ceiling in our walkin closet and bathroom. and of course the shingles on the roof at to be replaced. State Farm did us right and gave us just about enough money to have it repaired. Hey guys. Well i am starting my sophomore year of high school in a few weeks. In about a month I will be getting my license. I know the first thing your going to say is how spoiled you think I am or how these vehicles are too good for a first etc. Well let me start by saying i have been saving since I was very young and I currently have a job that I am planning on holding through high school. Now that’s out of the way haha here’s my question. My dream car is the 2013 Mustang GT Premium. Ive been wanting one since it first came out. From how things are going I should be able to afford one USED by early to mid Junior year. BUT!!!! I also LOVE motorcycles. I already have a motorcycle helmet but I would need to get a full leather suit, boots, and gloves. If i were to spend that much on a motorcycle I would go for a Kawasaki Ninja 300 ABS SE used. The guy who hit me does not have an ample amount of insurance to cover my injuries. They are offering me the policy limits to settle. My own uninsured or uninsured motorist has been given enough documentation to know that my additional insurance will come into play. I have filed suit against the guy and his insurance company, but do I need a letter of consent to settle with them from my own insurance company to make sure that my uninsured motorist coverage will still be available to me. Also, there are many attorneys that wont even look at taking a case unless the limits are much higher than state minimum, because they can make considerably more on those who are very well insured. Recently my landlord sent tenants a letter stating we have to buy renter’s insurance, stating that California Civil Code 827 allows them to do this. When I signed the lease with them, I was not required to pay for renter’s insurance, but they claim that terms have changed and now I am obligated to pay this, and if I don’t, may destroy my credit. However, when I returned to the UK and decided to by car, I found a proper one for 550. I decided to buy it, but I was asked to go online to get a quote from a car insurance company. I spent the whole night trying all the websites that my friends told me about. The shocking fact is that many of them refused to give me a quote because I hold an international license, not a UK one. Even those websites which accepted that requested a huge amount of money (i.e. not less than 1, 200-1, 600) which is much higher than the price of the car itself. I wonder if there’s a way to sort this out or if there’s any alternative solution that saves money for me. I don’t want to go through any further driving tests in the UK. My father has a permanent/whole life insurance. When he had a stroke and got totally disable the 1st several years he didn’t have to pay any monthly premium but in the past few years we been paying for the premium are told that he need to start paying a monthly premium because the savings on his life insurance ran out and every year they send a statement to pay a portion of the premium for 1 year to continue the coverage that besides paying the regular monthly premium which makes his total monthly premium way much higher than what he original pays when he 1st got his insurance. My question is I thought that when a policy holder get totally disable and can’t work and had no income that it doesnt matter if its term or permanent life insurance that the monthly premium is waived for life for that disabled policy holder?
